Location: Dundalk, Co. Louth
Hours: Monday-Thursday 8:00am-5:00pm | Friday 8:00am-3:00pm
Salary: Competitive, DOE
The Opportunity
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced BIM Coordinator to join a leading organisation within the Building Services sector across the UK and Ireland. This role offers the chance to work on innovative, large-scale projects delivering high-quality, sustainable MEP solutions across Europe.
The Role
As BIM Coordinator, you will play a key role in delivering fully coordinated, fabrication-ready MEP models, acting as the link between design, BIM, fabrication, and site teams. You will ensure models are accurate, clash-free, and aligned with project requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage coordinated MEP models using Revit
- Perform clash detection and coordination across disciplines
- Produce federated models for project reviews and meetings
- Generate fabrication drawings, spool drawings, and installation layouts
- Extract quantities and schedules to support procurement
- Maintain accurate project data and model updates throughout lifecycle
- Participate in coordination meetings and resolve design issues
- Ensure compliance with BIM standards and ISO processes
Requirements
- Strong experience using Revit MEP
- Experience with Navisworks Manage (clash detection & coordination)
- Proven background as a BIM Coordinator within the MEP sector
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
Desirable
- Experience working on fabrication-level models
- Exposure to offsite manufacturing or prefabrication environments
