Pay Rate / Salary: €42,000 - €50,000 per annum (inclusive of Sleepover Allowance) plus premium payments for Saturdays, Sundays and Bank Holidays

About the Role:
A Social Care Worker opportunity is available within a residential care setting in Naas, Kildare. This Social Care Worker role involves supporting children and young people within a therapeutic care environment. The Social Care Worker position would suit qualified candidates with experience working with children and young people.

Key duties:
- Support children and young people within a therapeutic residential care setting
- Contribute to the delivery of therapeutic care programmes
- Work in line with the needs and views of children and young people in care
Essential criteria:
- Minimum Level 7 qualification in a relevant discipline or CORU registration as a Social Care Worker without a relevant qualification
- Relevant disciplines include Social Care/Social Studies, Psychology, Social Work, Social Sciences, Teaching, Family Support, Disability Studies, Nursing Studies, Applied Policing, and related fields
- Qualifications in Child & Adolescent Psychotherapy, Counselling Psychotherapy, Addiction Counselling, Youth & Community Work, Early Years Care, Applied Behavioural Analysis or equivalent
- Higher Certificate in Custodial Care (Irish Prison Service) or equivalent
- Minimum 1 years' experience working with children and young people
- Full driver's licence would be desirable
