Health Safety & Quality Manager

Staffline Recruitment Ireland is recruiting a Health,Safety & Quality Manager to join the team of a well-established civil engineering contractor based in Mayo.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the existing HSQE department and oversee its day-to-day operation
• Carry out regular formal and informal site audits and inspections
• Analyse safety data and identify trends for continuous improvement
• Develop, review and maintain H&S policies, procedures, risk assessments and safe systems of work in line with legislation
• Prepare project-specific Health & Safety Plans Supporting the maintenance of ISO and Safe-T-Cert accreditation systems (ISO 9001, 14001 & 45001)
• Support incident, accident and near miss investigations, including reporting and corrective action
• Deliver inductions, toolbox talks and support internal training programmes

Essential Criteria
* Minimum Level 7 qualification in Occupational Health & Safety
* Previous experience in a similar role within construction/civil engineering
* Excellent communication and organisational skills
* Strong IT skills (Microsoft Office essential; SHEQ systems advantageous)
* Full clean driving licence essential
