Rate of Pay: £15.31 per hour

Hours of Work: 37hrs per week

The Client: Local Public body based in Lisburn, serving local residents.

The Role:

The post holder will be a member of the Operational Services Team and will be required to carry out a wide range of general maintenance and horticultural duties at various locations throughout the Council area, to include Golf Courses, Public Parks, Cemeteries, Sports Facilities, playing fields, landscaped areas and open spaces and be involved in a range of biodiversity projects. They will be responsible for the day to day activities of a small mobile team as directed.

The post holder will assume other delegated duties appropriate to the post reasonably assigned by management.

Essential Criteria:

• A third level qualification in a relevant discipline
• At least 2 years previous experience in a horticultural/maintenance role
• Experience of managing a team
• Applicants must hold a full clean current driving licence and access to a car or * have access to a means or transport which would enable them to carry out the duties of the post. * applies only to applicants who have a disability under the Disability Discrimination Act

Where applicants do not hold a qualification as outlined above, they must demonstrate a minimum of five years' experience as outlined above
