Service Technician - Dublin 12
Salary: €40,000 - €50,000 DOE
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9.00am - 5.30pm
Annual Leave: 21 days

Our client, one of Ireland's leading woodworking machinery and tooling companies, is currently recruiting for a Service Technician to join their growing team based in Dublin 12.

This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled and motivated technician with strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding abilities to work with a highly regarded company in a specialist industry.

The Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, servicing, maintenance and repair of woodworking machinery at customer sites throughout Ireland. This will include working with a wide range of industrial woodworking equipment such as CNC routers, moulding machines, panel saws, edge banders and related machinery.

This role will suit someone who enjoys problem-solving, working independently and delivering a high standard of service to customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, service, maintain and repair woodworking machinery at customer workshops nationwide
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical and pneumatic faults
• Carry out routine maintenance and equipment checks
• Provide professional technical support and customer service on-site
• Manage workload efficiently and ensure service calls are completed to a high standard
• Travel to customer sites across Ireland as required

Experience & Skills Required

• A trade background in electrical, mechanical, fitter/turner or similar is desirable
• Strong mechanical skills are essential
• Electrical and pneumatic knowledge would be an advantage
• Experience with woodworking machinery is preferred but not essential
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and manage your own workload
• Full, valid driving licence is essential
• Willingness to learn and develop within a specialist technical field
