Production Supervisor

We are now seeking a dedicated Production Supervisor on day shift to join our team in Craigavon and contribute to our continued success.

£15.94 per hour

Role Overview

The Production Supervisor plays a crucial role in overseeing daily operations on the production floor, ensuring that our manufacturing processes run smoothly, efficiently, and safely. This position demands strong leadership, excellent organisational skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving to help meet production targets and maintain high standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of production staff to meet daily and weekly production goals.
• Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations and promote a safe working environment.
• Monitor production processes and implement improvements to enhance efficiency and quality.
• Manage shift schedules and allocate resources effectively to optimise workflow.
• Conduct regular performance reviews and provide coaching and development opportunities for team members.
• Collaborate with quality control, maintenance, and logistics teams to resolve operational issues promptly.
• Maintain accurate production records and prepare reports for senior management.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives to drive operational excellence.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 2 years experience in a supervisory role within manufacturing or industrial production environments.
• Strong understanding of production processes, quality control, and health & safety standards.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills with the ability to motivate teams.
• Good organisational and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficient in using production management software and Microsoft Office applications.
