Hours: Full-time, Part-time
Pay Rate / Salary: €37,500-€46,000 per year (DOE)
Contract Type: Permanent

About the Role:
Social Care Leaders & Social Care Workers are required to support a new children's residential service for young people aged 7-12 in Carlow. This role will suit practitioners who want to be part of building a high-quality, therapeutic service from the outset. Social Care Leaders & Social Care Workers will work within a relationship-based and trauma-informed care model.
Key duties:
- Support the delivery of care within a therapeutic residential service
- Build and maintain safe, consistent relationships with young people
- Contribute to care planning, safeguarding, and daily operations
- Follow child protection procedures and HIQA National Standards
- Work collaboratively within a structured team environment
- Participate in reflective practice and supervision
- Support the development of service culture, routines, and practice
- Lead shifts and support colleagues
Essential criteria:
- Level 7 qualification (or higher) in Social Care or CORU-eligible discipline
- CORU registration or application submitted (evidence required)
- Experience working with children and/or young people
- Full driving licence
