£12.21 - £12.80 per hour (DOE)
About the Role
We are recruiting Support Workers to provide high‑quality, person‑centred support to adults with learning disabilities, autism, and/or acquired brain injuries.
In this rewarding role, you will support individuals to live as independently as possible, make informed choices, and achieve their personal goals both at home and within their local community.
No formal qualifications are required - we are looking for people with the right values, attitude, and commitment. Full paid induction and ongoing training are provided.
Key Responsibilities
- Build positive, respectful relationships with the people you support
- Deliver person‑centred support tailored to individual needs and goals
- Promote independence, choice, and control in daily living
- Support with daily tasks such as:
- Household duties including shopping, meal preparation, and cleaning
- Developing life skills and daily routines
- Medication and financial support where required
- Encourage community involvement, social inclusion, and meaningful activities
- Support individuals to maintain their health, safety, and wellbeing
- Maintain accurate records and follow safeguarding and risk management procedures
- Work collaboratively as part of a dedicated support team
What We're Looking For
- Kind, patient, and reliable individuals
- Experience supporting or caring for someone (paid or personal experience accepted)
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends
- Basic digital skills for record‑keeping and systems use
- Full UK driving licence and ability to travel independently (essential for some roles)
- Willingness to complete Enhanced Access NI clearance
- Willingness to register with NISCC (Northern Ireland Social Care Council)
