About the Role:

The Quality & Patient Safety Manager will support the delivery of safe, effective, and person-centred care through quality, risk, and compliance systems. This Quality & Patient Safety Manager role focuses on data analysis, reporting, and continuous improvement within healthcare services. The Quality & Patient Safety Manager position suits an experienced professional in healthcare quality, risk, and patient safety management.

Key Duties:

• Support development and implementation of quality, risk and patient safety systems and policies
• Manage and administer electronic quality management systems, including data integrity and reporting
• Analyse and trend data relating to incidents, complaints, risks, and quality indicators
• Develop dashboards and produce regular reports for stakeholders
• Coordinate reporting cycles and support relevant committees and governance structures
• Assist in incident management, investigations, and implementation of improvements
• Support complaints management and deputise when required
• Contribute to audits, training, and continuous improvement initiatives

Essential Criteria:

• Significant experience in healthcare quality, safety, and data management
• Experience with electronic quality management systems, databases, and data analysis tools
• Proven ability to analyse and report on qualitative and quantitative data
• Experience in risk assessment, incident and complaint management, and regulatory compliance
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including report writing
• Strong IT skills including MS Office and database management
• Knowledge of healthcare standards, risk management, and the Irish healthcare system
