Social Care Worker - Residential Service (Permanent)
Location: Wicklow
Salary: From €38,918 per annum
Hours: 39 hours per week

We are currently recruiting Social Care Workers to support adults with autism in a residential service in Wicklow. This is a rewarding opportunity to work within a supportive team focused on promoting independence, personal development, and community inclusion.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide person-centred support to adults with autism

• Support individuals with daily living activities and routines

• Assist with personal care where required

• Encourage independence and community participation

• Work collaboratively with families and multidisciplinary teams

• Follow individual care plans and support strategies

Requirements

• QQI Level 7 Degree in Social Care / Applied Social Care (or relevant Schedule 3 qualification) with minimum 6 months recent relevant experience
  OR

• A relevant degree (e.g. Social Work, Psychology) with at least 2 years recent relevant experience

• CORU registration as a Social Care Worker, or proof of application in progress

• Knowledge of social care legislation and best practice

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Full, clean driver's licence

Working Pattern

• Day line only rota

• Rolling rota of 3 shifts per week (13 hours per shift)

• One week includes 11pm finishes and the following week 9pm finishes

• One weekend on and the next weekend off
