Job description

Are you an organised and detail-oriented Quality Administrator with experience in the food industry? We are currently seeking a quality administrator to join a well-established food manufacturing business on a 12-month fixed-term contract to cover maternity leave. This is a full-time role based in Annacotty Business Park, Co. Limerick, with an anticipated start date of 1st April 2026.

The organisation is a leading supplier within the food production sector, providing high-quality ingredients and solutions to customers across domestic and international markets. With a strong reputation for quality, compliance, and operational excellence, the company operates to internationally recognised food safety and quality standards. To support the Quality Department during a maternity leave period, they are now seeking an experienced Administrator / Quality professional to join the team on a fixed-term basis.

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will support the Quality Department in maintaining compliance and managing key quality systems within a regulated food manufacturing environment. Key responsibilities include:

Managing Supplier and Product Approval processes;

  • Maintaining and supporting ISO 14001 systems and documentation;
  • Formulation of in-house specifications and Customer Certificates of Analysis (COA's);
  • Coordinating and delivering induction training for new staff;
  • Conducting in-house fabrication audits;
  • Ensuring compliance with HACCP, TACCP and VACCP requirements in line with GFSI Accreditation standards (BRCGS / FSSC 22000);
  • Maintaining accurate quality records and documentation in line with regulatory and internal requirements.

Benefits

  • Salary of €40,000 per annum;

  • Standard working hours: Monday-Thursday 8:30am-5:00pm, Friday 8:30am-4:00pm;

Criteria

  • Previous experience in a Quality or Administrative role within the food industry;
  • Strong knowledge of HACCP, TACCP and VACCP (essential);
  • Experience working with GFSI standards such as BRCGS or FSSC 22000;
  • Familiarity with ISO 14001 systems;
  • Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail;
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills;
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a compliance-driven environment.
