Staffline Recruitment Ireland is currently seeking applications for an experienced Leisure Centre Manager on behalf of a well-regarded 4-Star Hotel Leisure Facility based in Co. Tipperary.

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated hospitality and leisure professional to take full ownership of a thriving leisure operation catering to both hotel guests and an established membership base.

The Opportunity

Reporting directly to the General Manager, the successful candidate will oversee the day-to-day and strategic management of the leisure centre, ensuring the highest standards in service delivery, safety, and commercial performance.

This role would suit a commercially aware leader who is passionate about team development, operational excellence, and delivering an outstanding member and guest experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead all aspects of leisure centre operations

  • Manage, mentor and develop a multi-disciplinary leisure team

  • Ensure strict adherence to health & safety legislation and best practice

  • Monitor and control budgets, payroll, and departmental expenditure

  • Implement strategies to increase membership sales and improve retention

  • Oversee pool plant management and scheduled maintenance programmes

  • Maintain exceptional service standards across all areas

  • Coordinate and manage inspections, audits, and compliance requirements

  • Collaborate with senior hotel management on business planning and growth initiatives

Candidate Profile

  • 3+ years' management experience within a busy leisure club or hotel environment

  • Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate teams

  • Pool Plant Operations qualification essential

  • Valid Lifeguard certification (RLSS NPLQ or equivalent)

  • Occupational First Aid qualification

  • Strong knowledge of compliance, risk management, and operational procedures

  • Highly organised with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
