Senior Marketing and Communications Executive

Staffline Ireland are recruiting for a Senior Marketing and Communications Executive on behalf of a leading Building Services provider. The Senior Marketing and Communications Executive will work closely with the Marketing Manager to deliver and execute marketing strategies. This is a hands-on, varied role covering content creation, campaign delivery and market research which enhances brand visibility, and strengthens the market position.

The successful candidate will play a key role in strengthening market presence, shaping how the business is positioned externally while also supporting employee engagement through internal communications and employer branding activity.

Responsibilities:

  • Managing digital channels including the updating and maintaining the external website and social media, ensuring consistent tone, branding and responsiveness.
  • Provide direction, training and leadership to the Marketing team while managing the workload delivery of marketing targets and objectives.
  • Responsible for the development and optimisation of social media strategy, management of channels, content plans & approvals.
  • Own and manage social media channels, including content planning, creation, scheduling, and engagement.
  • Develop monthly/quarterly content calendars and create engaging, on-brand content for multiple social media platforms.
  • Drive growth in followers and engagement through consistent and strategic content tailored to each platform.
  • Manage consistent delivery of brand positioning, messaging, identity, company assets and digital presence across the company.
  • Monitoring, measuring and reporting on the performance of digital content and campaigns, using analytics and insights to evaluate and inform future activity.
  • Researching and applying emerging trends and techniques to ensure the digital communications are innovative, effective and reflect current best practice.
  • Provide strategic insight and recommendations to continuously improve marketing and communications activity, supporting the development and delivery of short to medium and long-term marketing strategies.
  • Monitor competitor activity, industry trends, and emerging digital techniques, identifying areas of opportunity, and maintaining a structured database of market intelligence.
  • Collaborate with teams to translate products, projects, and activity into clear, compelling communications for both internal and external audience.
  • Provide training, guidance and practical support to social media users across the organisation, acting as the main point of contact for digital communications queries.
  • Support internal communications activity that keeps employees informed, engaged, and aligned with company objectives.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues across departments and regions to advise on, develop, and deliver innovative digital content that supports communications, employer branding, and recruitment activity.
  • Any other duties role may involve.

Person Specification:

  • Degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital media, or another related field.
  • 3+ years proven experience in a senior marketing or communications role within a B2B environment.
  • Strong copywriting and editing skills with ability to adapt tone and style for different audiences and formats.
  • Demonstratable experience in setting out and leading the day-to-day duties and responsibilities of a marketing team, while also managing larger ad hoc projects.
  • Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines with strong presentation skills.
  • Confident communicator with strong stakeholder management skills.
  • Proficiency with design, video, or digital analytics tools (e.g. Adobe Creative Suite, Canva).
  • Experience using Microsoft Office and marketing tools such as, social media management tools and CMS platforms (WordPress).
  • Video content production and editing skills.
  • Passionate about marketing, communication, culture, and delivering meaningful impact.

Desirable Criteria:

  • Marketing experience within the manufacturing, engineering, or industrial sector.
  • Creative and commercially aware with a strong eye for detail.
  • Membership of CIM.
