Staffline are recruiting on behalf of NHSCT for a Band 3 Risk Assistant/ Emergency Planning Assistant required on a temporary basis based in Antrim
Role: Band 3 Risk Assistant/Emergency Planning Assistant
Rate of Pay: £12.75ph
Location: Antrim
Hours: 30 hours per week
Duration: 3 Months initially
Main duties/Responsibilities:
To Assist in the development and implementation of a trust risk strategy and associated policies, procedures and systems in support of the delivery of services to patients and clients.
- Incidents, litigation, inquests, General risk management and Health and Safety as required.
- Subject to risk management functions to which allocated enter details of incidents/claims/inquests, training statistics on to the Datix Risk Management systems or other databases ensuring that the database is maintained as a live system to enable the earliest identification of emerging trends, facilitate the productions of reports and support the development and operation of performance indicators to promote the highest standards of patients and client safety.
- Provide administrative support to trust staff involved in providing Health and Safety including moving and handling training
- Provide specialist administrative and secretarial support to senior risk management staff including providing an efficient telephone service and responding to queries as appropriate and as required.
- Manage diaries schedules including arranging appointments and meetings on behalf of senior staff including servicing meetings as required.
- Maintain accurate and up to date filing systems within the risk management department including managing brought forward systems
- Prepare standard memos, email in accordance with department Policy
Essential Criteria:
- 5 GCSE'S including English grade (A-C) or equivalent and 1 years administrative/clerical experience including experience of software packages.
OR
- 3 Years administrative/clerical experience including experience of software packages
