Job Title: Room Leader - Irish Immersion Early Years Centre

Location: Twinbrook, Belfast

Hours: Approximately 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday

Hourly Rate: £15.18 per hour

The Role:
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Room Leader to join our team. In this role, you will:

• Lead a room within our early years centre, supporting children's learning and development

• Plan and implement engaging, age-appropriate activities in line with the Irish immersion ethos

• Support and mentor staff in your room, ensuring high standards of care and education

• Work collaboratively with the management team to maintain a safe, inclusive, and welcoming environment

This role is initially offered until the end of March. However, there is potential for progression: depending on your performance and fit within the team, there may be an opportunity to step into the Deputy Childcare Manager role, which comes with increased responsibilities and a higher salary.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in early years education or childcare

• Leadership experience within a childcare setting is desirable

• Passion for working in an Irish language environment

• Strong communication, organisational, and teamwork skills
