Clinical Nurse Manager 2 - Mental Health

My client, an independent not-for-profit hospital is seeking an experienced CNM 2 to provide cover for 6 months, for their in-patient mental health service based in South Dublin.

The client provides a spectrum of neuropsychiatric services to adults with a range of serious and enduring mental health needs such as Alzheimer's, Parkinson's, and Huntington's Diseases, as well as individuals with early onset dementias, schizophrenia, and mood disorders.

Key Duties:

• Lead and develop nursing services in line with national standards and best practice.
• Make sure nursing care is safe, high quality, and centred on residents' needs.
• Ensure full compliance with Health & Safety, Risk Management, and regulatory standards.
• Lead and support change and improvement within the nursing service.
• Collaborate closely with residents, families, carers, and staff on care planning and goals.
• Actively participate in and support multidisciplinary team (MDT) working.

Essential Criteria:

• Registered Psychiatric Nurse with NMBI.
• 2 years' experience as a Clinical Nurse Manager 1.
• Experience working in a hospital or healthcare setting, including acute mental health care.
