Salary: £25,000 basic + OTE £31,000

The Role
An opportunity has arisen for a Key Account Specialist to join a busy branch operation in Ballymena. This role is ideal for someone with recruitment or account management experience who enjoys balancing client relationships, workforce coordination, and compliance in a fast-paced environment. Reporting to the Branch Manager, you will support key client accounts, deliver recruitment activity, and ensure a high-quality service across all aspects of the temporary workforce lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
Recruitment & Workforce Delivery
- Build a strong understanding of client roles, culture, and assignment requirements
- Source, interview, and assess candidates across multiple role levels
- Deliver recruitment activity in line with resourcing KPIs and workforce plans
- Complete candidate registrations in line with legal, ethical, and compliance standards
- Coordinate onboarding, inductions, and client-specific training where required
- Issue assignment briefings, handbooks, and onboarding documentation
Client & Account Management
- Support the Branch Manager in delivering service excellence against agreed SLAs
- Review performance with clients and contribute to manpower planning
- Identify and recommend service improvements to add value to the client relationship
- Prepare and deliver management information and SLA reporting
- Issue and act on Client Satisfaction Surveys
- Manage and respond to client feedback in a timely manner
Candidate Care & Administration
- Act as a key point of contact for temporary workers
- Address candidate issues relating to assignments, pay, attendance, or performance
- Maintain accurate worker records and systems at all times
- Ensure candidates are paid correctly and on time, supporting weekly payroll clinics
- Provide guidance on absence, performance management, and conduct
- Carry out reviews, investigations, and appraisals where required
Compliance & Quality
- Ensure all operations are delivered in line with company policies and legal standards
- Maintain high standards of ethical and compliant recruitment
- Support monthly branch quality audits
- Assist with client ethical and customer audits when requested
- Comply with all health and safety requirements
What We're Looking For
- Minimum 6 months' experience in recruitment or account management
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage at all levels
- Proven administrative ability with strong attention to detail
- Confident IT skills and experience using systems
- Stable employment history
- GCSE English and Maths (A-C) or equivalent
Desirable:
- Experience conducting disciplinary or grievance meetings
- Business Administration Level 3 qualification
