Technical Sales Manager

TECHNICAL SALES MANAGER| DUBLIN 15 | PERMANENT |

Due to immense growth, our client based in Dublin 15 are searching for a Technical Sales Manager to join their team on a Permanent basis.

This role offers a high level of autonomy, attractive base salary with bonus. Please note that there is travel throughout Ireland for the role and there is scope for the position to have a hybrid working model based on business requirements.

THE ROLE |

This is an ideal opportunity for a candidate with excellent account management experience who has experience selling to the manufacturing industry and who has a good understanding of technical detail product knowledge.

RESPONSIBILITIES |

• Achieving clear sales and targets and ensure the growth of sales through Business Development activities, determining new opportunities by analysing the business needs of existing and potential customers
• Maintain expertise in the broad product portfolio in order to support customer requirements, suggesting solutions that support the customer in achieving their solution while reflecting their budget
• Enhance the reputation of the business through the sale and delivery of strategic, profitable and innovative products and solutions
• Works alongside Technical Sales and Suppliers to fulfil technical quotes to Customers
• Work alongside Marketing to create, execute and manage marketing programs
• Implement Account Management structure within the business to support Key Accounts
• Liaise directly with clients in the formation of quotations to meet / exceed their technical requirements

REQUIREMENTS |

• 3 - 5 years' experience in a similar role
• Excellent knowledge of CRM methods and systems
• A proven successful sales record with shown by consistently meeting and exceeding sales targets
• Excellent communication skills, including negotiation and influencing
• Experience in selling technical/electronic product solutions to customers an advantage
• Full Drivers Licence
