Team Leader - Supported Living (Kilkenny)
Location: Kilkenny
Employment Type: Full-Time
Shift Pattern: 12-hour shifts
Salary: €41,000-€52,000 depending on experience
A new opportunity has arisen for an experienced Team Leader in Supported Living services in Kilkenny. This role is ideal for a social care professional who thrives in a leadership position and is passionate about empowering adults with disabilities to live as independently as possible.
Role Overview:
As Team Leader, you will be responsible for managing the daily support and supervision of both residents and staff. Your focus will be on ensuring high standards of care, developing staff capabilities, and upholding HIQA compliance.
Essential Criteria:
- QQI Level 7 degree in Social Care (or equivalent qualification)
- At least 1 year's experience in disability services or working with vulnerable adults
- Full clean driving licence and access to a vehicle
- Knowledge of safeguarding practices, care standards, and HIQA requirements
- Proficiency in record-keeping, team coordination, and using IT systems
