Person in Charge - Residential Services (Kilkenny)
Location: Kilkenny
Employment Type: Full-Time
Shift Pattern: 12-hour shifts
Salary: €54,000-€60,000 depending on experience
On-Call Allowance: €3,904 per year
We are recruiting a Person in Charge (PIC) for a residential care service in Kilkenny, supporting adults with complex needs. This is a leadership opportunity for an experienced and values-driven social care professional looking to make a meaningful difference.
About the Role:
As the registered Person in Charge, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the service, ensuring compliance with HIQA regulations, overseeing a multidisciplinary team, and delivering person-centred support in a high-quality care environment.
Essential Requirements:
- Level 7 degree in Social Care or equivalent
- Minimum 5 years' experience in health or social care (including 3 years in a senior or PIC role)
- Proven leadership and team management skills
- Strong understanding of HIQA standards and governance requirements
- Financial management and service budgeting experience
- Commitment to high standards of person-centred care
