Care Support Worker

Location: On site, Crossmolina, Mayo

Job type: Permanent, full time & part time

Currently seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Care Support Worker to join our client's team based in a new residential unit in Crossmolina.

The ideal candidate will provide exceptional care for adults in residential care. Our client is committed to making a positive difference in the lives of adults who live with intellectual disabilities, autism, and challenging behaviour.

Key duties:

• Provide personal care and emotional support to residents in line with individual care plans.
• Assist with daily living activities, including meals, hygiene, mobility, and social engagement.
• Encourage and facilitate independence and personal development.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date care records and documentation.

Essential criteria:

• QQI Level 5 qualification in Healthcare Support (or equivalent).
• Minimum 6 months' experience in a residential or similar care setting.
• Flexibility to work a roster that includes evenings, weekends, etc.
• Full driving licence and access to a car.
