Social Worker | Dublin 2 | Fixed-Term Contract
Staffline Recruitment Ireland is currently recruiting on behalf of our client, a leading non-profit organisation with headquarters in Dublin 2. We are currently seeking to appoint a number of social workers to support a critical project, with a view to an immediate start.
This is an excellent opportunity for suitably qualified professionals to join an established team in an entry level capacity.
The role of Social Worker is an integral role within the organisation, and the successful candidate will gain in-depth experience supporting crucial services.
The role will be offered on a full-time, contract basis for a 4-6 month period with a possibility of extension. Applications for part-time will also be considered.
THE ROLE |
The main purpose of this role is to provide day-to-day support to the social care team, supporting vulnerable adults with varying needs.
RESPONSIBILITIES |
- Managing interview process for assigned cases in line with internal policies and procedures
- Conducting triage interviews with assigned cases
- Making referrals as and when necessary to HSE and other partners
- Document outcomes of assessment and make sound judgement on cases for referrals
- Monitoring standards across the function, ensuring the highest possible service levels are achieved
REQUIREMENTS |
- Fully qualified and registered social worker
- Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
- Strong presentation skills with good report writing ability
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment that is very fast-paced
- Ability to identify and recommend process improvements
