Site Agent - Utilities Engineer

We're working with a major utilities provider in Dublin 11 to recruit a Site Agent to manage multiple live sites across the region. You'll take full ownership of site delivery, ensuring projects are completed on time, on budget, and to the highest safety and quality standards.

This role suits an experienced civil or utilities professional who enjoys leading site teams, liaising with local authorities, and making decisions in a fast-paced field environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Management

• Manage day-to-day operations across multiple urban and rural sites.
• Oversee delivery of utilities (water/electric) infrastructure and drainage systems.
• Plan and coordinate resources, timelines, and material deliveries.

Client & Stakeholder Communication

• Liaise with Contracts Manager, site agents, clients, and local authorities.
• Provide timely updates to clients and stakeholders on project status.

Technical Oversight

• Review and interpret site drawings and amend designs as required.
• Oversee traffic management, health & safety protocols, and compliance documentation.
• Apply new technologies and support innovation on-site.

Team Leadership

• Mentor junior team members and support professional development.
• Monitor on-site performance and implement improvements as needed.

Requirements:

• Full, clean driver's licence (essential)
• Qualification in Engineering or equivalent (desirable)
• Experience in utilities, drainage, or civils projects
• Proven ability to read and interpret technical designs
• Strong understanding of HSQE and ground support systems
• Confident communicator, with leadership and mentoring experience
• Computer literate, organised, and commercially aware
