Security Officers

Staffline Recruitment Ireland, in partnership with G4S Secure Solutions (Ire), are currently recruiting for experienced Security Officers for our clients sites in Limerick.

We are looking for reliable and experienced individuals who are available to cover various shifts including days, nights, and weekends.

Basic Pay €14.50 p/h, + Sunday Premium €3.44, + Bank Holiday, Unsociable hours & Overtime rates paid.

Role Responsibilities:

• Monitor Systems: Oversee Access Control & Camera Systems
• Respond to Alarms: Address Access Control Alarms using systems and cameras
• Communication: Coordinate with Office Coordinators across the EMEA region
• Reporting: Compile daily activities into shift reports and create Incident Reports
• Customer Service: Answer calls and provide security services coordination
• Dispatch: Use radio to dispatch and track Security Officers' calls for requests
• Emergency Coordination:

1. Manage emergency incidents with Physical Security Officers
2. Liaise with First Responders
3. Participate in regular training and scenario-based security drills
4. Follow escalation policies during emergencies

Experience

• In-depth knowledge of CCTV, access control, and intruder alarm systems
• Proven ability to deliver comprehensive oral and written reports

Role Requirements

• Valid PSA (Static Security) licence
• Safepass, First Aid, and Manual Handling certifications beneficial
• 1 year of experience in a similar role
• Fluent in English (verbal and written)
• Strong IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
• Full flexibility and availability to work days, evenings, and weekends
• 5 years of verifiable work and personal history
• Exceptional customer service skills and attention to detail
