Sales Manager

SALES MANAGER | DUBLIN NORTH | PERMANENT |

Do you have previous experience in managing a team within a sales/customer support environment?

Our client is searching for a Sales Manager to join their team on a permanent basis. Please note that this role is fully office based, Monday to Friday. Parking is on-site and has access to public transport.

THE ROLE |

The new team member will assist with the management of the sales and customer support team of six across the business. You will ensure that all processes are correctly adhered to, and your team deliver the highest level of customer service and client satisfaction. As part of your role, you will also assist with marketing and business development campaigns to the wider business.

RESPONSIBILITIES|

• Manage the team, ensuring they are fully equipped, motivated and encouraged in order to complete their roles
• Assist with recruitment, training, management and appraisals of your team
• Ensure that company's controls, policies, procedures, processes and applications are all understood by the team and implemented accordingly
• Coordinate marketing updates including reviewing marketing material and arranging strategic business development campaigns

REQUIREMENTS|

• Previous 2-3 years' experience working as a Sales Manager in the logistics/transport/ distribution/production industry desirable
• Previous experience in managing and guiding a sales team
• Previous B2B sales experience
• Previous experience in assisting with marketing
• Good knowledge of IT application systems as well as ability to complete reports
