Opportunity available for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to work with our client within their Capital Investments Division in Dublin.

THE ROLE |

The new team member will work in a busy and fast-paced environment where there is an expansive portfolio of projects underway. Working alongside the Commercial and Project Manager and collaborating with various teams within the business.

The Quantity Surveyor will contribute to the Contract Management, financial management and profitable performance of the project. To excel in this role, you will be a Chartered Quantity Surveyor with previous experience working with large construction projects.

RESPONSIBILITIES|

Working with internal teams and supporting the Commercial and Project Manager with the contract management from tender to project completion stages.

Develop and review proposed project cost plans.

Preparation of a bill of quantities

Ensure that projects are managed in accordance with defined project management and control procedures, challenging and reporting on cost variations.

Provide support in the preparation of reports, including period, quarterly and annual reports.

REQUIREMENTS |

Relevant degree level qualification in Quantity Surveying

Minimum Qualifications are QS/ Construction Economics Degree or Construction/Project Management Degree and/or Chartered Quantity Surveyor (MRICS or SCS)

Minimum of 5 - 10 years relevant experience

Demonstrate ability to produce and manage bills of quantities, tender and contract documentation essential

Previous Rail Experience (Network Rail or Maintenance Frameworks) is desirable
