Location: Antrim
Position Type: Permanent/ Full Time
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Salary: £27,000 - £31,000 (Depending on Experience)
Reports To: Warehouse Manager (Client Site)

About the Role
Staffline Recruitment is currently recruiting for a Warehouse Operative on behalf of our client, based at their site in Antrim. This is an exciting opportunity to join a well-established operation, offering long-term stability, competitive pay, and clear progression routes.
The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting daily warehouse operations, ensuring accurate stock handling, timely order dispatch, and maintaining high standards of health, safety, and organisation.
Key Responsibilities
Goods Inwards
Unloading deliveries from trucks
Inspecting goods for damages or discrepancies
Completing delivery documentation and updating internal systems
Preparing storage areas for incoming stock
Storage & Inventory
Storing products in designated areas (shelving, racking, bulk)
Replenishing picking areas from bulk storage
Maintaining accurate stock locations and labelling
Completing regular stock takes and cycle counts
Reporting stock issues promptly
Order Picking & Dispatch
Picking items as per order requirements
Packing products securely and ensuring correct labels are applied
Loading goods onto delivery vehicles
Coordinating with couriers and drivers for dispatch
Equipment Operation
Operating forklifts and warehouse equipment (with certification)
Performing daily safety checks on equipment
Health & Safety & Housekeeping
Ensuring the warehouse remains clean, safe, and organised
Adhering to Health & Safety procedures and policies
Performing manual handling duties safely and efficiently
Teamwork & Communication
Working collaboratively with colleagues and supervisors
Reporting delays, hazards, or problems immediately
Communicating professionally with team members and other departments
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Accurate receipt and storage of goods on delivery day
Timely and precise stock counts
Efficient picking, packing, and dispatch of orders
Maintaining a clean, compliant, and safe warehouse environment
Candidate Requirements
Essential:
Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment
Familiarity with stock systems and basic IT tools
Ability to multitask and work efficiently under time pressure
Understanding of Health & Safety in a warehouse setting
Physically fit and capable of manual handling
Desirable:
Valid forklift licence (or willingness to obtain)
Full UK driving licence
