About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled HGV Mechanic to join our team, with a structured development plan to progress into an HGV Tester role. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual looking to advance their career in heavy vehicle maintenance and testing.
Salary: €40,000 - €48,000
Shift: Monday to Friday
Key Responsibilities:
Perform routine maintenance, servicing, and repairs on HGVs.
Diagnose and rectify mechanical and electrical faults.
Conduct vehicle inspections and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
Prepare vehicles for MOT testing and liaise with testing authorities.
Maintain accurate records of repairs and servicing.
Work towards obtaining the necessary qualifications and certifications for HGV testing.
Assist in vehicle testing procedures under supervision.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
Requirements:
- Mechanic certificate and registered
- 4 Years mechanic apprenticeship completed + 1 Year work experience.
Ability to diagnose faults using diagnostic equipment.
Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Willingness to undertake further training to become an HGV Tester.
