Senior Transport Manager

Job Title: Senior Transport manager
Location: County Fermanagh

We're seeking an experienced Transport Manager to lead the management of fleet (up to 120 vehicles) and plant equipment across ROI and NI. This role is key to maintaining compliance, safety, and operational continuity during a critical transition period.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee fleet operations, ensuring compliance with RSA (ROI) and DVSA (NI) regulations.

• Manage servicing, inspections, licensing, fuel usage, and cost control.

• Lead maintenance and operations of fixed/mobile plant equipment (e.g., crushers, conveyors, loaders).

• Drive health, safety, and compliance with HSA (ROI) and HSENI (NI) standards.

• Provide leadership to cross-border teams of drivers, mechanics, and plant operators.

• Ensure operational stability and communication between ROI and NI sites.

What You'll Bring:

• Background in fleet and/or plant management-ideally in construction, aggregates, or manufacturing.

• Knowledge of compliance standards in ROI and NI.

• Strong leadership, organisational, and problem-solving skills.

• Proficiency with fleet/plant systems and MS Office.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Transport Manager CPC (desirable)

• Mechanical/Engineering or NEBOSH/IOSH qualification

• Full, clean driving licence (required)
