Programme Administrator Officer

Temporary (3-6 months)

Newry

The Role: Our client based in Newry requires a Programme Administrator Officer on a temporary contract for approx. 3 - 6 months. The successful candidate will have at least 3 years' experience working in an administration role which involved responsibility for monitoring and managing financial records.

Responsibilities:

  • To provide support to Project Managers who have responsibility for Innovation Programmes.
  • Processing information and documentation for all stages of Innovation programmes to agreed processes.
  • Raising purchase orders, receiving & reviewing invoices, claims and processing payment information.
  • Dealing with queries relating to claims from companies and academic institutions, online and by phone.
  • Responding to enquiries to programmes from companies, delivery consultants & stakeholders.
  • Accurately input, record data and update management information systems.
  • Any other duties as required in support of project managers.

Essential requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in an administrative role, which has involved responsibility for monitoring and managing financial records.
  • Ability to plan, prioritise and organise your own workload.
  • Ability to interpret and process accurately a range of data/information, using this for reports, papers and/or presentations.
  • Ability to effectively monitor and manage financial records, including checking for accuracy and identifying issues on an ongoing basis.
  • Strong IT skills in a business environment with comprehensive experience in: Excel, Word, CRM Databases.
  • Ability to work independently and manage own workload and priorities effectively.
  • Ability to form effective working relationships.
  • Highly effective written and oral communication skills.

Desirable requirements:

  • A third level, or equivalent, professional qualification

Hours of work: Mon - Fri 9am - 5pm (Hybrid working min 3 days office attendance)

Hourly Rate: £13.37 per hour
