Procurement Coordinator - Medical Supplies

At Staffline Recruitment we have a fantastic opportunity available for an experienced Procurement Coordinator to join an established, successful medical supplies company located in South Dublin.

This is a stand alone role within the organisation where the successful candidate will take responsibility for the full procurement lifecycle with a commitment excellence and customer satisfaction. This role is suitable for someone who enjoys being challenged in their career while being part of an enthusiastic, hard-working team.

This fast paced and unique role will be different every day, however the core responsibilities are:

  • Source new items from both existing and new vendors, coordinating samples, pricing, specification, lead times, forecasting requirements and other relevant information from international vendors.
  • Manage the setup of new suppliers in the system, review, recalculate and maintain pricing within the database.
  • Reviewing existing work processes and implementing smarter ways if working where necessary.
  • Problem solve customer requests and queries by thinking creatively outside the box.
  • Build and maintain strong, strategic relationships with global suppliers.
  • Maintain excellent lines of communication internally with management, sales, customer service and warehouse teams.
  • Oversee purchase orders and invoices in a multicurrency environment.
  • Resolve any customs queries that may disrupt delivery schedules.
  • General procurement administration.

This role is suitable for someone who enjoys being challenged in their career while being part of an enthusiastic, hard-working team. Other key requirements will include:

  • 2-5 years of purchasing / procurement experience.
  • Experience working with medical products or a similar industry.
  • Experience managing full cycle procurement processes is desirable.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Strong IT skills, particularly in Excel.
  • Confident and influential communication style.
  • Outgoing and positive attitude to work.
  • Ability to foster strong working relationships both internally and externally.
