Job description

  • Research, select and purchase quality products and materials.
  • Build relationships with suppliers and negotiate with them to agree prices, quantities, delivery schedules and exclusivity deals.
  • Adapt product offering based on customer feedback.
  • Maintain accurate purchasing data within the system.
  • Update inventory and ensure that stock levels are kept at appropriate levels.
  • Arrange transport of goods and track orders to ensure timely delivery.
  • Conduct competitor research.

SKILLS:

Ability to work on own initiative.

Strong communication, negotiation and influencing skills.

Excellent numerical skills.

IT proficiency - Excel.
