Job description
- Research, select and purchase quality products and materials.
- Build relationships with suppliers and negotiate with them to agree prices, quantities, delivery schedules and exclusivity deals.
- Adapt product offering based on customer feedback.
- Maintain accurate purchasing data within the system.
- Update inventory and ensure that stock levels are kept at appropriate levels.
- Arrange transport of goods and track orders to ensure timely delivery.
- Conduct competitor research.
SKILLS:
Ability to work on own initiative.
Strong communication, negotiation and influencing skills.
Excellent numerical skills.
IT proficiency - Excel.
