Night Time Health Care Assistant

Location: 25km from Limerick City
Schedule: Permanent role, 3 x 12-hour shifts per week (8 PM - 8 AM)

We are seeking a dedicated and confident Health Care Assistant to join our team in a residential home for patients with dementia. You will be the sole care provider during the night shift for a house accommodating six residents, with a nurse available across three buildings to address specific needs and emergencies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assisting residents with evening routines and preparing them for bed.
• Ensuring residents are comfortable and safe throughout the night.
• Preparing residents for the morning.
• Monitoring and responding to residents' needs with empathy and professionalism.

Requirements:

• Experience in dementia care is highly advantageous.
• Relevant qualifications in Care Skills and Care of the Elderly are essential.
• Ability to work independently with confidence and calmness.
