Job Title: Healthcare Recruitment Consultant

Location: Swords
Hours: 37.5 hours per week (flexibility required)
Salary: €25,000 to €30,000 with OTE circa €40,000

Job Summary

Provide tailored healthcare recruitment services by understanding and matching the needs of clients and candidates, ensuring targets are met.

Key Responsibilities

Sales Activity & Business Development

  • Generate new business opportunities.
  • Meet sales and gross profit targets across permanent/temporary roles.
  • Conduct client visits and follow up on business leads.
  • Support proposal documents and tenders.
  • Negotiate fees and rates according to company policy.
  • Source candidates and clients.

Client Management

  • Identify and meet client needs.
  • Manage vacancies and client sites.
  • Collect client information and identify sales opportunities.
  • Maintain recruitment system with client information.
  • Network with clients and offer on-call service when needed.
  • Generate management information and conduct client satisfaction surveys.

Candidate Management

  • Source and pool talent.
  • Pre-screen and register candidates.
  • Prepare candidates for interviews and provide feedback.
  • Negotiate job offers and employment terms.
  • Advise on pay rates, training, and career progression.
  • Manage temporary staff availability.
  • Ensure candidate CVs meet client specifications.

Quality & Compliance

  • Follow Key Processes and QMS guidelines.
  • Ensure high standards in written and verbal communication.
  • Conduct candidate vetting, including ID checks, qualification verification, and reference checking.
  • Maintain and use CRM system effectively.
  • Assist in staff recruitment, selection, and mentoring.
  • Update and maintain records in compliance with legislative requirements.

Person Specification

Essential

  • 1 year's recruitment consultancy experience in the last 5 years or 2 years direct sales experience in a target-driven environment.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Word and Outlook.
  • Outstanding communication and influencing skills.
  • Strong analytical approach and commercial awareness.
  • Organised with the ability to deliver results and solve problems.
  • Full clean driving license or access to transport for travel.

Desirable

  • 2 years' recruitment consultancy experience in healthcare or 3 years direct sales experience in the last 5 years.
  • Experience with recruitment databases.
  • Background as a medical/healthcare professional.
  • Professional accreditation (ERF).
  • Registered nurse/healthcare professional.
