ASSISTANT FINANCIAL CONTROLLER | NORTH COUNTY DUBLIN/HYBRID | PERMANENT |

Due to immense growth, our client, based in North County Dublin are currently searching for an experienced part qualified Assistant Financial Controller to join their team on a permanent basis.

THE ROLE|

Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will play a central role in the Reporting, Financial Management and Control of the business during its next phase of growth, while working closely with key business stakeholders from Operations, Supply Chain as well as members of the Finance team. The ideal candidate would be a part qualified Accountant who has previous experience in financial reporting of multi-site, FMCG business environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES |

  • Oversee the processes regarding the internal systems control accounting system
  • Maintain accurate data, stock and system controls such as revenue, direct costs, customer details, product locations/site etc.
  • Ownership for key reconciliations including but not limited to all aspects of fixed assets, stock and WIP.
  • Prepare accounts for month end reporting
  • Manage inter company accounts and reconciliations
  • Assist in the analysis of budgets and involvement of detailed budgeting, forecasting and kpi's
  • Responsible for coordinating financial audits ensuring process and compliance are completed to company standards
  • Support and guidance for other departments within finance such as Stock, Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable

REQUIREMENTS |

  • Part Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, IATI or equivalent)
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in financial accounts coordination
  • Strong accounting systems knowledge
  • Strong Excel skill set with ability to develop Excel models
  • Financial control experience in a warehousing/supply chain/logistics/FMCG environment is desirable
  • Multi-Site business account coordination experience an advantage
  • Access to own transport due to location of office for office-based days
