Financial Accountant (Fully Qualified)

Staffline Recruitment are hiring for a Fully Qualified Financial Accountant for an international company based in Galway.

Responsibilities:

• Preparation of various monthly management reporting packs, including all G.L. entries to ensure compliance with corporate reporting deadlines
• Submission of Monthly P30 & VAT Returns
• Preparation of Audit file for year end
• Management of the R&D Tax Credit Claims Process
• Responsible for preparation & submission of Grant Claims
• Ownership of the Standard Costing Process
• Driving Cost Reduction Effort
• Management of the Accounts Assistant role, ensuring appropriate coaching & mentoring is provided

Requirements:

• Fully qualified accountant with recognised accountancy qualification
• Minimum of 2-3 years post qualification work experience in a similar role
• Ability to identify problems & offer solutions
• Knowledge of Sage 50, Micropay, & Microsoft Access desirable
