Job Description: Farm Machinery Operator (Cahir)

Staffline Recruitment is proud to partner with our client in Cahir, who are seeking an experienced Farm Machinery Operator to join their beef and tillage farm. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced individual who is skilled in operating agricultural machinery and enjoys working in a dynamic, hands-on farming environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Driving and operating modern tractors and machinery for all aspects of tillage and beef farming operations, including ploughing, harrowing, sowing, spraying, fertilizing, and harvesting.
• Handling silage-making, muck spreading, and other seasonal farm activities.
• Maintenance, repair, and cleaning of farm machinery to ensure optimal performance.
• Transporting and handling feed, livestock, and materials as required.

Requirements:

• Proven experience operating tractors and various farm machinery with confidence and efficiency.
• Knowledge of modern farming practices and machinery is advantageous.
• Mechanical skills for basic repairs and maintenance of machinery are desirable.
• A strong work ethic and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Full clean driving license (tractor, machinery, or HGV license would be a plus).
