Field Service Engineer

Our client, a leader in biomass boiler solutions, is seeking a Field Service Engineer to play a pivotal role in maintaining, monitoring, and providing breakdown assistance for biomass boiler systems. Reporting to the Technical Director, this position requires a hands-on professional who ensures high-quality service delivery while serving as the on-site point of contact for customers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain detailed service documentation, including images, to share with customers.
• Adhere to safety protocols and ensure equipment is in safe working order.
• Act as the primary on-site contact for customer queries and concerns.
• Be prepared to address issues on-site promptly and effectively.
• Provide technical and service training to customers during site visits.
• Keep the service vehicle stocked with necessary parts and tools for servicing and repairs.
• Collaborate with the customer service manager for efficient job planning.
• Proactively communicate with suppliers to resolve technical issues.

Candidate Requirements:

Technical Skills

• Experience working with single-phase and three-phase power systems.
• Ability to interpret and follow electrical schematics.
• Basic understanding of plumbing systems.
