My client, international leader in hospitality, seek to hire an Events Manager.
This role will be onsite in Galway City.
Responsibilities
Sourcing new business for meetings and events at the hotel.
Find and book weddings, work events, and special parties.
Work with other sales team members to meet weekly and monthly goals.
Handle payments for events and go to weekly team meetings.
Share ideas to help grow sales throughout the year.
Give tours of the hotel to possible clients.
Plan wedding fairs and give tours to couples and other guests.
- Flexible on weekends to meet with clients and show them around.
Turn interested clients into confirmed bookings and offer extras to increase sales.
- Take care of big events with over 100+ people staying at the hotel.
Requirments
2 to 3 years of experience in sales or event planning, hospitality industry advantage.
Experience leading or helping a team.
