Job description

We are seeking to hire two Clerical Officer's to support administrative operations in Galway City.

A Grade III & a Grade IV.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide general administrative support, including data entry, filing, and document management.
  • Handle incoming queries via phone, email, and in-person, ensuring professional customer service.
  • Maintain and update records, databases, and reports accurately.
  • Support senior staff with scheduling, correspondence, and office coordination.
  • Assist in the preparation of reports, meeting minutes, and other office documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies and data protection regulations.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in an administrative or clerical role (public or private sector).
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience handling confidential information with discretion.
  • Previous experience in a public sector or healthcare setting.
