Job description
We are seeking to hire two Clerical Officer's to support administrative operations in Galway City.
A Grade III & a Grade IV.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide general administrative support, including data entry, filing, and document management.
- Handle incoming queries via phone, email, and in-person, ensuring professional customer service.
- Maintain and update records, databases, and reports accurately.
- Support senior staff with scheduling, correspondence, and office coordination.
- Assist in the preparation of reports, meeting minutes, and other office documentation.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and data protection regulations.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in an administrative or clerical role (public or private sector).
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience handling confidential information with discretion.
- Previous experience in a public sector or healthcare setting.
