Data Analyst required for a full time office based role in Co Fermanagh

Salary depending on experience

The Role:

Staffline are recruiting for an experienced Data Analyst. You will support all business units in identifying trends and providing management with valuable information to improve financial, operational and business practices and reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

Your responsibilities will vary depending on your area of work, however, you will typically:

  • Gather data from various sources, including production lines, quality control, and supply chain systems.
  • Ensure data integrity and accuracy by cleaning and validating datasets
  • Analyse production data to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies
  • Use statistical methods and software tools to interpret data and generate actionable insights
  • Identify areas to increase efficiency and optimise data collection processes by automating data workflows and building efficient data pipelines
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand and validate data requirements, ensuring accurate reporting
  • Design and carry out surveys and analyse survey data
  • Manipulate, analyse and interpret complex data sets relating to the business
  • Develop predictive models to forecast outcomes and identify potential issues before they occur.
  • Create detailed reports and dashboards to present findings to management and other stakeholders
  • Use tools like Tableau, Excel, Power BI to make data visual and easily understandable
  • Conduct sector and competitor analysis to provide insights for continuous improvement
  • Keep up to date with industry trends and best practices in data analytics.

Who We're Looking For:

Essential Skills & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline, such as mathematics, statistics, computer science or economics is required or an equivalent qualification
  • Candidates should be able to demonstrate proven relevant experience in statistical analysis and working with data sets, data analysis tools and relational databases along with strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.

Desirable

  • A postgraduate qualification, such as a Master's Degree in Data Science or Data Analytics is desirable
  • Ability to demonstrate attention to detail and work under pressure and deliver under demanding deadlines accurately.
