Staffline Recruitment are currently looking for an experienced cook to join a team at a busy and well-established restaurant. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

📍 Location: Ballymena
💷 Pay Rate: £15 per hour
🕒 Hours: 35-40 hours per week (as per rota)
📅 Work Schedule: Shifts scheduled according to rota - including weekends

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook meals according to the menu and customer specifications

• Ensure high standards of food hygiene and safety are maintained at all times

• Manage food stock, rotation, and waste efficiently

• Collaborate with kitchen staff and front-of-house team to ensure smooth service

• Maintain cleanliness and organization in all kitchen areas

• Work flexible hours as per rota, including weekends

Requirements:

• Proven experience working as a cook or chef in a professional kitchen

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Good communication and time management skills

• Knowledge of food safety standards

• Reliability and a strong work ethic
