Position Summary

Our client is seeking a Commercial Project Manager to play a pivotal role in driving our global Transformation Towards Operational Excellence (TTOE) initiative. This high-impact program includes the implementation of a unified ERP platform (IFS Cloud) and the harmonization of global business processes across all Data Centers Technology regions.

As a critical member of the transformation program, the Commercial Project Manager will lead and coordinate commercial workstreams-covering Sales and Service-to ensure the timely and high-quality delivery of project outcomes. The role involves close collaboration with super users, local process owners, and application specialists, while fostering strong cross-functional alignment across global teams.

This position is central to embedding sustainable transformation within the organization, ensuring that new processes, systems, and ways of working are successfully adopted across all regions.


Key Responsibilities

Planning & Coordination

  • Develop and maintain detailed sub-project plans aligned with overall program timelines.

  • Coordinate and oversee workstream activities, ensuring dependencies and priorities are effectively managed.

  • Provide regular progress updates, highlighting risks, issues, and mitigation actions.

Stakeholder Management

  • Act as the main point of contact for stakeholders within the assigned workstream.

  • Ensure stakeholder requirements are understood, validated, and reflected in solution design and delivery.

Scope & Requirements Management

  • Support the collection, validation, and documentation of business requirements.

  • Define and control workstream scope throughout the project lifecycle.

  • Collaborate with process owners and application specialists to translate business needs into effective system functionality.

Risk & Issue Management

  • Identify, assess, and monitor risks within the workstream.

  • Escalate critical issues affecting scope, schedule, or budget to program management.

  • Develop and execute mitigation and contingency plans as needed.

Resource Oversight

  • Monitor and manage workstream resource allocation and utilization.

  • Coordinate resource changes and onboarding as required.

Testing & Quality Assurance

  • Support planning and execution of testing activities throughout the project phases.

  • Ensure test cases align with real business scenarios and processes.

  • Coordinate defect management and resolution activities.

Change Management

  • Serve as a change ambassador, promoting awareness, understanding, and adoption of new processes and systems.

  • Actively support transformation activities, training, and communication efforts to ensure sustainable implementation.


Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.

  • Advanced certifications in program or project management (e.g., PgMP, PMP, Lean Six Sigma) are preferred.

Experience

  • 5+ years of project management experience, with a proven record of leading large-scale transformation initiatives in complex, global environments.

  • Hands-on experience implementing and optimizing ERP systems-preferably IFS Cloud-across multiple business functions.

  • Demonstrated success in cross-functional leadership, delivering measurable outcomes in high-impact programs.

  • Strong understanding of commercial business processes including sales, project management, and service management.

  • Experience bridging business requirements and technical functionality to create effective, end-to-end ERP solutions.
