The Client: Health Care Trust in the Ardglass area
The Role: To prepare and serve patients' meals and specialised culinary items (including serving where appropriate) either independently or as a member of a team, ensuring this is carried out in accordance with the Food Hygiene Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2006.
Hours of Work: 37.50hrs per week, working 5 out of 7 days on a 3-week rota to include weekends
Requirements:
Essential Criteria:
- Have at least 6 months of experience in cooking plus qualifications (see below)
- City & Guilds 706/1 and 706/2
OR
- NVQ Level 2 in Food Preparation and Cooking
AND
- Level 2 Food Safety Qualification
- Basic numeracy and literacy skills such as the ability to add, read and write and follow written instructions
- Hold a current full driving licence which is valid for use in the UK and have access to a car on appointment. This criteria will be waived in the case of applicants whose disability prohibits driving but who have access to a form of transport approved by the Trust which will permit them to carry out the duties of the post.

- Rate of Pay: £12.31 p/hr
- Holiday Entitlement
