Business Development Representative | Industrial Automation & Process Controls

Location: Dublin South | Full Clean Driving Licence Required

Are you a tenacious sales professional with a passion for technical solutions and building long-lasting customer relationships? We're looking for a driven Business Development Representative to join our client's growing team and help them expand our presence within the industrial automation, process control, pneumatics, and electrical controls sector.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a market leader, delivering value-driven solutions to contractors, project managers, and business owners, while developing new business and maximising existing accounts.

What You'll Do

• Liaise with channel partners, specifiers, contractors, project managers, and business owners
• Deliver engaging CPD presentations to the specifier and contractor community
• Develop and manage a strong business pipeline, from lead generation through to close
• Optimise existing accounts, identifying cross-selling and up-selling opportunities
• Consistently achieve (and exceed!) sales targets

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience in solution-based field sales (minimum 3+ years)
• Background in industrial automation, process control, pneumatics, or electrical controls & automation
• A technical qualification (Mechanical, Electrical, or Electronic Engineering)
• A strong track record of winning new business and developing long-term customer relationships
• Excellent presentation, communication, and organisational skills
• A customer-focused, entrepreneurial mindset with the confidence to take ownership
• Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP) and Microsoft Office Suite
• Full clean driving licence
