Staffline Recruitment Ireland are seeking a dynamic and experienced Branch Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our clients Tipperary Branch. Reporting to the Regional Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales, ensuring operational efficiency, and achieving profitability targets.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage all key branch functions, including Trade, Retail, DIY, Showroom, Internal and External Sales.

  • Collaborate with the Regional Manager and Sales Representatives to establish and achieve monthly turnover targets.

  • Maintain a clean, well-organised, and properly merchandised store.

  • Provide leadership and direction to staff, ensuring exceptional levels of customer service.

  • Oversee stock and purchasing management, ensuring inventory levels align with working capital guidelines set by the Board.

  • Supervise yard and transport operations.

  • Monitor and manage cost inputs, including haulage/delivery and overhead expenses.

  • Communicate key sales and performance targets to the team.

  • Ensure adherence to company guidelines and procedures regarding staff management, credit control, and administration.

  • Guarantee compliance with all relevant Health & Safety legislation and maintain a safe environment for employees and customers.

  • Manage staff performance, attendance, timekeeping, and disciplinary procedures as required.

  • Undertake additional duties as necessary to meet business needs.

Requirements:

  • Proven management experience, preferably within a busy Builder Providers or similar industry.

  • Strong understanding of the construction sector.

  • Proficiency with standard software packages, including MS Word, Excel, and basic accounting.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills paired with strong commercial acumen.

  • Ability to lead and motivate a team to achieve branch targets and objectives.
