Band 5 Senior Human Resources Officer required on a temporary basis based in Antrim
Role: Band 5 Senior Human Resources Officer
Rate of Pay: £14.53 per hour
Location: Antrim
Hours: 37.5 per week
Duration: Temporary
Main duties/Responsibilities:
- Assist in fostering and maintaining an effective employee relations, attendance and inclusion service in accordance with good Human Resources practice.
- Support the Team to provide advice and assistance to managers, TU's, staff and other parties on ERAI queries
- Case manage employee relations and attendance cases prioritising and highlighting red flag cases for escalation.
- Undertake investigations as appropriate.
- Provide HR support to officers undertaking investigations.
- Co-ordinate and manage divisional ACD's
- Co-ordinate and manage return to work spot checks
- Undertake the delivery of training to support ERAI service delivery
- Support and advise B4's on preparation of ER and Attendance Hearings and Appeals
- Undertake and participate in the AFC job analysis/job evaluation processes as appropriate.
- Plan, coordinate and deliver training on Employee Relations, Attendance and Inclusion issues and participate as necessary.
- Support Team Leads in the preparation for IT cases
- Provide support as required to the Human Resources Manager and deputise as required.
- Liaise with other sections within HR, to make sure a comprehensive HR service to the Trust is provided.
- Supervise and support the day to day work of more junior staff within the team.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and office procedures.
- Work with other HR staff to develop and maintain standards and quality of service
Essential Criteria:
A university degree or equivalent qualification plus 1 years' experience in a Human Resources department*
OR
Certificate in Personnel recognised by CIPD plus 2 years' experience in a Human Resources department*
OR
3 years' experience in Human Resources department*
