Band 3 ED Officer required on a temporary basis based in Antrim

Role: Band 3 ED Officer - Nights

Rate of Pay: £11.67ph

Location: Antrim

Hours: 23 hours - on a rota basis, ex 7.30pm-7.30am

Duration: 3 Months with possible extension

Main duties/Responsibilities:

• Register patients
• Update PAS complete admissions
• Transfers and discharges
• Support the medical and nursing team in various department
• Provide a high standard of admin and clerical support
• Reception duties / answering telephone calls
• Photocopying, scanning, filing, emailing
• Maintain, input and update computer system as required
• Input and retrieve appropriate information from computerised systems
• Maintain and update manual/computerised records as required
• Maintain an up to date filing system
• Adhering to all Trust policies and procedures
• Maintain a high level of confidentiality of information in line with current legislation and policies within the department
• Provide cover as required for other clerical staff within the division during periods of absence or excess workload
• Undertake any other duties within the department and within the grade which may be assigned from time to time

Essential Criteria:

• 4 GCSEs to include English and Mathematics (Grade A*- C) or equivalent AND 1 years' clerical/secretarial experience in an office environment.

OR

• GCSE English and Mathematics (Grade A*- C) or equivalent AND 2 years' clerical/secretarial experience in an office environment.
