Account Manager

Staffline Ireland are recruiting for an Account Manager on behalf of a leading work-wear supplier. The Account Manager will manage a portfolio of contracts to ensure that they are successfully and profitably delivered throughout their lifetime, sales are maximised, and contracts successfully retained. The role is a 12 month contract with potential to go permanent.

Responsibilities:

  • Take ownership for portfolio of accounts and contribute to a sales projection for contracts in conjunction with Head of Contracts.
  • Develop excellent relationships with all customer contacts, through regular communication, and in person meetings with customers.
  • Manage stakeholders internally and externally.
  • Ensure all sales and contribution targets are achieved and where possible exceeded.
  • Ensure delivery performance KPIs are achieved for assigned contracts.
  • Identify new tender and sales opportunities within existing customer portfolio.
  • Maintain customer KPIs, service levels and management information as agreed with each customer. Ensure regular review meetings take place and minutes taken and saved.
  • Ensure that all necessary activities are undertaken to re-win and/or extend existing contracts, including driving internal meetings.
  • Meet with and update the relevant Head of Contracts on a weekly basis on progress of each account.
  • Lead Account Coordinators and individuals within the Account Management Department.
  • May be required to Line Manage account co-ordinators and other members of the team from time to time or if need arises.
  • Ensure that any customer complaints and issues that have been escalated from Account Coordinator or customer are dealt with and resolved effectively.
  • Manage the implementation of all contracts secured within current customer base and new customers.
  • Any other duties role may involve.

Person Specification:

  • Demonstrable experience in an Account Management or similar customer orientated role with portfolio of customers
  • Proven track record in the development & implementation of a business strategy
  • Strong IT skills, particularly MS Word & Excel

Desirable Criteria:

  • Has a Degree/Technical Qualification
  • Has managed and delivered accounts at an international level
  • Experience of working with various stakeholders including country office, factories and in-house design
  • Broad understanding of garment technology/ garment manufacturing process
  • Experience of EU and international sales
  • Has targeted and opened new accounts to generate new business

The successful Account Manager will enjoy a competitive salary depending on experience plus 35 days holidays, annual pay reviews and 1pm finish on a Friday.

The Account Manager role will be based in County Tyrone.
