Temporary up to 18 weeks

Hours of work: 14hrs per week

Rate of Pay: £19.47 per hour

The Client: Local Government body based in Lisburn, serving local residents.

Key purpose of the job:

To support the delivery of the Council's corporate health and safety management arrangements by providing compliance monitoring and continuous improvement activities across all service areas. The post holder will maintain oversight of corrective actions arising from audits, inspections, incidents and investigations, ensuring actions are progressed and completed within agreed timescales. To assist the Lead Resilience Officer in analysing performance trends, identifying emerging risks and areas of non-compliance and preparing reports to support informed decision-making and continuous improvement.

Essential criteria:

• Five GCSE passes at grade A-C including English and Mathematics, NVQ Level 2 or equivalent
• Be able to demonstrate by providing personal and specific examples, a minimum of threeyears' relevant experience to include:
  • Conducting compliance inspections
  • Tracking actions and maintaining accurate records
  • Analysing data and reporting trends
  • Ability to prioritise workload and manage own time
  • Competent in the use of Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, MS Teams, Word and Excel

Where applicants do not hold the qualifications as outlined above, they must demonstrate a minimum of 5 years experience as outlined above
